Air Trim Masks
For skiing, cycling and all sports happening in cold weather.
These masks from AirTrim are designed to exchange heat and exchange moisture
while you are outside exercising. Invented and made in Sweden these masks
are used by many athletes for skiing, running and cycling in cold and very cold
weather. There are 5 different filters that can be used. The filters can
be changed by removing the outer ring and popping the filter out. The "asthma"
filter is the most dense and will provide the most exchange of heat and
moisture but is also the most limited for air flow.
The "sport" filter is the next filter (sometimes called the original or
standard filter). The race filters (#1, #2
and #3) progressively have more air flow and decreasingly have less
heat & moisture exchange.
The mask is contoured to fit to the face and is held with an adjustable
elastic band. You can warm-up before a race using a more dense filter (e.g. #1)
and then switch to less-dense (e.g. #3) for the race. Do not wash the filters
since they are paper-based. The mask can be cleaned by wiping it with a damp
cloth. When wearing the mask the correct position for the strap to be
is at the base of skull where your neck attaches (not high up).

We've expanded the available choices of filters -- you can now get a
pack of 2 filters in a variety of combinations.
The #3 racing filter has the largest air flow and is best for racing
above -15°C. Around -15°C and colder we recommend using the Racing
filter #2 at least because it has more heat transfer. You may want to use
the racing filter #1 instead when it's really cold.

This 1.1 litre (1.15 quart) insulated bag helps keep liquids hot.
The internal drinking bottle is removal to make it easier when it needs
to be washed. Large zippered compartment on top for storage.
This pack is easy to adjust and comfortable to wear. The internal bottle
has a thermal wrap to help keep the liquid from freezing. The thermo wrap can
be removed (unzipped) for cleaning.

Winter Toques (Hats)

A large part of your body heat is lost through the top of your head.
It's important to regulate your heat loss and a toque or headband
is just the tool to do it. Keeping warm is important not just on the
trail but after too so that you don't catch a chill! Of course you
should wear one in the wax hut :-)
All toques and headbands shown fit teens to adults.

Each hat is specially made-to-order just for you.
The image above shows some samples. Two styles are available: the CanLyme
logo with ticks on the earflaps, or with a ring of ticks around the cap.
You can specify the colours that you would like for the main part of the hat
and the contrasting colour; specify colours in the checkout comment box or
give us a call (519-747-8032) to talk with the knitter directly.
All proceeds go to the Canadian Lyme Disease Foundation. Lyme disease is
regularly mis-diagnosed as other diseases such as MS and it actively
exists in all regions of the country. Another reason to fight global warming.

Windy Toque
This is the warmest toque in the shop. Perfect for really cold days.
Also excellent for coaches and parents who must stay in one spot
while a race happens. Great for all winter activities.
The Windy is a light, snug toque that protects the ears from
cold and wind. The brim can be turned up to tighten the the toque to the skull
when used during a race. Made from 50% wool and 50% acrylic with a
PROLINE lining laminiated to the interior. PROLINE insulates and guards
against the wind while allowing moisture to pass through; keep the head
warm and dry. Available in Black/White and Blue/White combinations.

Red Creek No-slip Boot Studs
This is really an amazing product! The boot sole plates attach to SNS
and NNN boot soles so that you can walk in your ski boots without slipping
on icy, hard or polished surfaces. They also help keep the snow out of
the groove on the sole of the boot making it easier for you to snap
back into your skis.
There are 6 steel studs on the bottom that provide
serious grip into all surfaces. This makes walking in your nordic ski
